Which is better Acuvue Oasys or Moist?
Depending on your prescription and your eyesight will determine which of these lenses is more suitable for you.
Because Acuvue Moist lenses are comprised of a hydrogel rather than a silicone hydrogel, they have a larger water content compared to Oasys Daily lenses (58% vs. 38%). However, the silicone hydrogel in Oasys lenses is incredibly breathable, enhancing comfort and maintaining eye health. Both employ various wetting strategies to maintain ocular hydration.
Moist lenses employ Lacreon technology, which embeds a water-retentive substance into the lens to retain moisture. Oasys lenses use HydraLuxe technology, which uses a network of tear-like molecules in the lens to stabilise your tear-film and prevent it from drying out.
